The short version
- We only collect what you send us: through our request form, or by email, text or phone.
- We use it to reply to you, build your free sample and, if you become a client, build and run your website.
- We never sell or rent your information. This site has no cookies, ads or tracking.
- You can ask us to see, fix or delete your information at any time.
Who we are
DazeOps builds websites for small businesses in northern Michigan. We're based in Cadillac, Michigan. In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean DazeOps. It covers this website (web.dazeops.com) and the ways you can reach us from it.
What we collect
When you fill out our request form
Your name, your business name, your email and/or phone number, your town, where we can see your business now (like a Facebook page or Google listing), and what your business does. Only your name, business name and one way to reach you are required. The rest is up to you.
When you email, call or text us
Whatever you choose to send us, along with your email address or phone number.
When you visit the site
Like any website, the companies that host our site and its fonts automatically receive basic technical details, such as your IP address, your browser type and which page you asked for. We don't use these details to figure out who you are.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and answer your questions
- To build your free sample website
- If you become a client: to build and run your website, send invoices, and keep in touch about your site
- To keep the business and tax records the law requires
We may follow up with you about your request. Just tell us if you'd like us to stop, and we will. We don't add you to mailing lists.
Who else handles it
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. A few companies help us run this site, our email and our phone line. They handle your information only to provide those services to us:
- Web3Forms delivers our request form to our email inbox. It keeps a copy of each request for 30 days, then deletes it. To block spam, it may check the sender's IP address and email address with CleanTalk. Web3Forms privacy · CleanTalk privacy
- Google hosts our email (Google Workspace) and our business phone line (Google Voice). This site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you visit. Google privacy
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare privacy
We'd only share your information beyond that if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, ad trackers or tracking pixels. We don't follow you across other websites, and we don't let anyone else do that on our site.
Do Not Track: some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. Since we don't track visitors over time or across other sites, there's nothing for that signal to turn off. Every visitor gets the same private experience.
How long we keep it
- Web3Forms deletes its copy of each form request after 30 days.
- We keep your requests and messages only as long as we need them to talk with you about your website, or until you ask us to delete them.
- If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as the law and our tax records require.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Email or call us (below) and we'll take care of it within 30 days. If you're a client, we may need to keep some billing records the law requires, and we'll tell you if so.
Keeping it safe
This site uses HTTPS encryption, and the companies above protect your information when it's sent and stored. No method is perfect, so please don't send passwords or payment card numbers through our form, by email or by text.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Websites we build for clients
This policy covers DazeOps's own site. Each website we build for a client has its own privacy policy for that site's visitors.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
